The MCYT Recursive Exchange is a gift exchange in the MCYT fandom, focusing on Recursive Fanworks. All gifts in this exchange are required to be about a requested fanwork from the MCYT fandom, and only a fanwork where the author has given fanwork permission, via a Blanket or other public statement.[3]
The fandom this set of events includes is MCYT fandoms as a whole, and "OR" matching is used. A nomination period ran where participants nominated fanworks they wanted to see recursed. This was used to create the tagset for the exchange.
Seventy-seven people signed up, and the collection closed on April 13 with 187 works. Only one gift was required per participant, but many made treats.
