SolidarityGaming/Smajor1995, popularly known as Flower Husbands, is the canonical M/M pairing of SolidarityGaming (Jimmy) and Smajor1995 (Scott Smajor) from the Life SMP Series and Empires SMP. The pairing primarily refers to the relationship between their Minecraft characters as opposed to being RPF.

Canon

Jimmy and Scott found each other at start of 3rd Life and immediately decided to team together. During the first session, Jimmy gave Scott a poppy and stated he "confessed [his] love... for poppies" to which Scott responded that they "[were] married now". Soon after, they claimed a section of the map as their own territory and named it the Flower Valley. A couple sessions in, Scott joked that he and Jimmy could share reputation points on Scar’s Reputation Board because they were married. When Jimmy lost his second life and became a red-named player in the same session, Scott insisted that Jimmy couldn’t kill him because he was his husband.

When Jimmy permadied, Scott referred to himself as a widow and made Jimmy a grave. After Scott permadied in the finale of 3rd Life, he included an afterlife sequence where he reunited with Jimmy in a fully realized version of the Flower Valley.

In later Life SMP Series seasons, the two of them continued to make references to their time together in 3rd Life.

Jimmy and Scott have shipteased their characters on other servers—such as on Empires SMP when they went on a date in season one—but they have not fully canonized Flower Husbands outside of 3rd Life.

Fandom

Flower Husbands was one of the first pairings the Life SMP Series fandom was comfortable with openly shipping due its canon status and direct encouragement from both Scott and Jimmy. The early fandom climate was timid about shipping due to rampant discourse on shipping in MCYT fandoms at the time and whether or not shipping was considered RPF. As such, Flower Husbands is often credited with helping pioneer the change in fandom etiquette regarding shipping.

It's common for Flower Husbands fans to ship the pairing outside of the Life SMP Series and Empires SMP settings in servers they are both apart of, including Rats SMP and New Life SMP. This is due to a large overlap in fandoms.

Because the Minecraft poppy is directly associated with Flower Husbands, it often appears in fanart.

The ship name Flower Husbands is a reference to their home in the Flower Valley and their canonical married dynamic during 3rd Life.
