악어, whose name can be romanized as Acau, sometimes also know by his Minecraft username, Bjacau, is a South-Korean YouTuber and streamer, part of the MCYT fandom. He was born on September 9, 1994, and began streaming Minecraft content on 아프리카TV [AfreecaTV] in 2012. He also used to stream on Twitch before its shut down of operations in South Korea. He is founder and member of the streaming group 늪지대 [Swamp Zone].[1] He also joined the multilingual QSMP web series on February 9, 2024.[2]
Name and Romanization
His in-game Minecraft username is Bjacau, with "Bj" being an abbreviation for "Broadcast jockey", which is a term used by Korean-speakers to refer to streamers.
Preferred Romanization
According to the 국어의 로마자 표기법 [Revised Romanization of Korean], the official romanization system used by South Korea to transliterate words from Hangul into the Latin script, the standard transliteration of "악어" would be "Ageo", however, whenever 악어 refers to himself while writing in English or using the Latin script he seems to prefer using the archaic transliteration "Acau".[3]

QSMP
악어 [Acau]'s character was one of 춘식 [Chun-Sik]'s four parents. He had also a particularly close friendship with 중력 [Jungryeok].
Given that his in-game name translates roughly to "Crocodile Streamer," his Minecraft roleplay character being a crocodile hybrid is a common headcanon in the QSMP fandom, and feature frequently on fanart and other fanworks where his character is depicted.
