C! (short for character!) is a tag used before the name or username of a content creator in the MCYT fandom to refer to a fictionalized in-game version of the streamer or youtuber's Minecraft avatar. Its usage originates from the Dream SMP fandom, but has since become common nomenclature in the wider MCYT fandom.
Sometimes fans will use a more specific variant of the tag, especially if a streamer plays multiple characters on different servers. For example, o! is frequently used in the Origins SMP fandom, and q! is common in the QSMP fandom.
The opposite of c! is cc! (short for content creator!), which is used to refer to the actual streamer or youtuber in real life. Often both will be used for "in character" vs "out of character" discussions. This also allows for differentiation between FPF and RPF within the fandom.
