Purpled is a YouTuber and Twitch Streamer, most notable for his gameplay of Bedwars, participation in the Dream SMP, and high rankings in MCC.
Fanworks will often showcase Purpled alongside other members of Tiredtwt, such as Gamerboy80, Hannahxxrose, and BoomerNA. Purpled was also a member of the Las Nevadas faction on the Dream SMP, and fans created art and fic about his relationships with Quackity, Fundy, Slimecicle, and Foolish Gamers.
Despite not interacting with them in canon, fans would also often include Purpled in Sleepy Bois Inc. Found Family style fics due to being a similar age to TommyInnit and Tubbo. The group of TommyInnit, Tubbo, Ranboo, and Purpled were sometimes called “Manipulated Minors.” Many fans disliked this grouping, as Purpled's storyline didn't focus on age or power differences like the other three, and he had even been responsible for morally questionable actions himself. Other fans found the found family trope incongruent with Purpled’s canon characterization, as he’s an isolated mercenary who very rarely interacts with other characters.
