George Davidson, known online as GeorgeNotFound, is an English Minecraft Twitch streamer and founding member of the Dream SMP. He started uploading videos to YouTube in 2019 and has over 10 million subscribers on his main channel as of July 2024. He is colorblind.
George has a degree in computer science and worked as a programmer on McPVP and MunchyMC, coding gamemodes like MC Hunger Games, before starting YouTube. He met Dream on Munchy in 2016. He was a hunter in Dream's Minecraft Manhunt video series and had his own brief manhunt series being hunted by Dream and BadBoyHalo. He, Sapnap and Karl Jacobs also had a podcast series together called Banter. In October 2022, he moved to the United States to live with fellow Dream Team members Dream and Sapnap.
Controversies
Caitibugzz accused George of sexual assault on March 9, 2024[1], which he denied.[2] After Caitibugzz showed a text message supposedly from one of George's friends being uncomfortable who witnessed the situation between the two, which turned out to be a lie, George made a tweet saying he was sorry and had no bad intentions. He would later delete this tweet after speaking with the friend who denied sending the text message or finding anything wrong with the situation that night.
Initially these accusations caused George a wave of backlash with many fellow content creators at first publicly criticizing and distancing themselves from him. However, as Caitibugzz and George released more information, a majority began to believe Caitibugzz's accusations were false,[3][4][5][6] or that it at least was not malicious sexual assault on George's part and that he was innocent.
Hardcore antis of George and the Dream Team in general continue to believe the worst of George and even go so far as to exaggeratedly call him a rapist.[7]
Character
Dream SMP
George as a character is known for sleeping through many of the major lore events on the server. The character had many vivid dreams and sometimes had difficulty telling reality apart from his dreams. He also tended to grief and kill without much thought to lore. He was Quackity's running mate for the L'Manberg elections. After losing the elections he stayed away from most politics until Dream made him King of the server. After multiple attacks and assassination attempts, and deciding that George wasn't preforming his duties, Dream dethroned him and returned the crown to Eret. George and a few friends then tried to make a new nation called "Gogtopia" (after one of George's nicknames, Gogy) which was destroyed by Karl Jacobs. Eventually George joined Kinoko Kingdom as it's first citizen. George also met DreamXD, going along with the god as he pranked others until DreamXD took it too far. Chasing him down, DreamXD offered George netherite armor so they would be best friends forever.
