Dangan Ronpa Minecraft is a Team Crafted fanfiction created by MangoKiwi in 2014, published on Wattpad. The true release date of the fic is lost to time, though it was released sometime in 2014. Currently it stands at #20 on the Team Crafted Wattpad ranks. It was praised heavily in its time and is one of the more popular Team Crafted fanfictions. It remains MangoKiwi's most popular fic, followed by My Little... Team Crafted?!.

The fic amassed a small cult following, though a lot of links and posts are now defunct due to time and deactivated accounts.

Sixteen popular minecraft youtubers are forced into a mysterious, dark mansion by Herobrine himself. All windows, doors, and other escape routes are all blocked, providing no way to sneak out. The only way to escape? Kill one of your peers and not get caught. Who will survive this game of murder and mystery?

Hello, and welcome to Dangan Ronpa Minecraft!! This is just a little introduction. Feel free to skip ahead, but you I strongly suggest reading this chapter if you aren't familiar with Dangan Ronpa.

Basically, this is a book about some minecraft youtubers, with the plot of Dangan Ronpa, a reeeeeally good anime. If you know about Dangan Ronpa, then no, this book is not an exact replica of the show but with youtubers in the character's places. It's the rough plot, but the similarities end there. If you haven't heard of or watched Dangan Ronpa, don't worry-you don't have to have watched the show to understand this book, but be warned of violence and murder!~ Again. There is a lot of violence and deaths, so just be warned. Anyways, please enjoy Dangan Ronpa Minecraft!

By the way if you get really attached to youtuber characters in fanfics, be careful when you read, because most of the characters die. I recommend not picking a favorite character. xD

Hello, everyone! Before I say anything, I cannot thank you ENOUGH for all the support on this series. It's gotten so popular that this book alone has sort of a mini-fandom! It's amazing!

Dangan Ronpa Minecraft has been my biggest project yet-I put my heart and soul into it. This book needed to be perfect. I read over every single chapter before posting it, and spent at least an hour or two on every death video.

I try to read as many comments as I can, and I think my favorite thing was when people had their own mini-trials in the comments whenever there was a murder. People actually were into the murders! They wanted to solve them for themselves, they read over the chapters to gather their own clues...it was great!! People started voting and commenting on the book less than a minute after I updated it! which I found unbelievable.

I was appalled at the popularity of this book. As I write this it has about 100,000 reads. 100k reads. That's unbelievable. Before this I wrote a freaking trilogy of crossovers and none of them even reached half that much, and those books were still amazingly popular.

So if you've been keeping up with this book since it started in April of 2014, thank you for being patient with my chapter updates. And if you're reading this long after this book has been finished, thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this! It really means a lot.

So what am I doing after this book? I'm not entirely sure. I think I'm going to continue and finish my other MCYT fanfiction, Coma Abridged, which I put on hold to work on this book. It's a parody of my friend xXBritMitXx's popular fanfiction Coma, and shoutout to her because you should check it out if non-shipping Minecraft Youtuber/Team Crafted fanfictions are your style! And after Coma Abridged? I have an idea for a fanfic in mind, but I can't really say that much about it until I can grasp the plot more. Anyway, what else can I say? Thanks for all the support on this book. It's just unbelievable. I love every one of you guys. And please don't be sad about the end of this book! I am too. There's still more of it, in a book of extras I made for the book! It's got polls, art, short stories, and some more good stuff too that will surely make you despair. ...Too soon...? Following the standard plot of Dangan Ronpa, everyone is trapped inside of the mansion, with the only way to leave being to kill someone and not be caught. When a body is discovered, a small investigation is held before a trial is performed to discover the murderer. If the murderer is discovered, they are executed. If they choose the wrong person, everyone else is executed and the murderer walks free.

Each of the characters are assigned a Super Minecraft Level, which relates to executions and to the youtubers and their content.

Murders and Executions

Each body discovered included a video depicting the corpse, similar to the game, now lost to time.

Jordan was the first death, killed by Ian in the enchanting room. He was discovered with blunt force head trauma, a cut up hand, and stab wounds in his chest. First they had suspected Jason, due to his helmet being broken, though quickly discovered Ian attempted to frame him.

Ian was executed after being caught, being chained to a pole and blown up by TNT during The Big Bang execution.

Ian's Execution

Bodil was discovered in the bedrooms stabbed multiple times with a stake by Ant, having written Mad underneath his arm before his death in blood after mistaking him for Adam due to a disguise.

The only surviving image of Bodil's death.

Ant was executed through a zombie hoard, where he fought with a wooden sword until it broke and he was killed during the Apocalypse execution.

Seto died in the study room with a large gash in his neck from Mitch with a stone sword. At the same time, Tyler had been victim to blunt force trauma to the head - though nonlethal - caused by Suiko the Basher. Seto had left behind a magical hologram named Altersorcerer, a small version of himself that could translate galactic for the cast.

Mitch was executed after being shot with a massive arrow on a bullseye during the Bullseye execution.

Adam was killed in the lounge after consuming poisoned fish, meant to target Jerome, during an eating contest. The fish was poisoned by Matt.

Matt was executed after completing a parkour run for his life, only to be crushed into the ceiling during the X-Run execution.

Altersorcerer died after running out of Setos' magic, though appears multiple times later in the fic. Twice to save both Tyler and Bodil during the Diamond Mine execution, and once during the epilogue.

Ty was "murdered" in the living room after he seemingly broke his neck, was dressed in Ryan's clothes, and hung by the cape on a painting. Later this turns out to be false, as the body itself was long dead.

Suiko/Bashur was killed by an arrow to the neck and hacked to bits. He was taped to the wall and surrounding him was sheeps blood, writing out the word DESPAIR.

The only surviving image of Bashur/Suikos death.

Tyler was wrongfully accused as guilty by Herobrine, and was sentenced to execution. He was nearly killed by a massive swinging pickaxe, though was stopped by the remains of Altersorcerer. He escaped successfully.

After being discovered as the Mastermind, Bodil revealed that him and Ty had swapped places at the start of the game, and Ty had been the one who was killed by Ant. The body of Ty they had found was part of a ploy to generate more despair from Bodil, hiding the stab wounds with the Batman costume that he'd stolen from Ryan. Ty had been a ghost since his death, trying to push Tyler to hope and getting Jason and Ryan on his side. Bodil had been orchestrating everything and driving everyone as deep as possible into despair, giving the remaining victims a final decision; to stay inside the mansion, or brave the outside world. At first the group was apprehensive due to manipulation from Bodil, and the idea that being a spy for Ty's ghost amounted to nothing. In the end, Tyler broke through the manipulation and freed them, sentencing Bodil to the Super Duper Nasty Torture, a gauntlet of all the previous executions. He was immune to most of them, getting an advantage and bouncing off of everything. When he reached Diamond Mine, however, Altersorcerer appeared and stopped the pickaxe. In this moment, Herobrine reappeared and stabbed Bodil, killing him.

Bodil dies completely at the very end, collapsing after giving the remaining members the front door key.
