Vex Magic is a trope in fanfic that may have been popularized when GoodTimesWithScar (aka Scar) and Cubfan135 (aka Cub) made a collaboration in seasons 5 and 6 of Hermitcraft , known as ConVex or ConCorp, where they did pranks and minor destruction, and implied they were using some form of Vex Magic, the sort of magic used by the Minecraft Vex creature. They left it unverified whether they were actually vexes or had some other deal with them.
This trope is the trope of Minecraft roleplay characters being secret vexes or having vex anatomy or using vex abilities. It is most common with these two, but is used with others.
Due to some remarks made by Scar, sometimes vex are portrayed as cannibals.
