ifoundjoy is a gachatuber animator born in 2007 who makes Skephalo AU videos on YouTube using programs like Gacha Club and Gacha Life, although in her YouTube description they claim they left MCYT fandom years ago and have taken Bad and Skeppy as her own original characters. Other MCYTers, such as Sapnap, also feature in her work.

As of July 2024 her oldest video is a Bad and Skeppy mama mia meme and her most popular is a DSMP BadBoyHalo spin the bottle video with over 4.5 million views. They have over 340k subscribers on YouTube.

Her channel description as of July 8, 2024 reads:

but i have left the fandom years ago! I feel like that info could be important. I just kept these characters because they’ve developed so much over time and I don't plan on changing anything. That means I don’t exactly correlate the characters with the real people and they are two completely different things!!

June 2024 Call Out

On June 11, 2024 a user on Twitter by the username of @skeppysaint made a series of callout posts toward ifoundjoy with screenshots of her work that they claim went against the content creators boundaries against NSFW content with a follow up post later that day containing screenshots from ifoundjoy's discord.

no hate to ifoundjoy bc I love their videos and art but can we please talk abt how they go against cc!happyduo boundaries like here so proof(happyduo doesn’t like nsfw or anything hinting at it )

The next day @skeppysaint made a second post clarifying what exactly they found wrong with the content.

They also made a general response to ifoundjoy fans defending ifoundjoy by saying Bad and Skeppy were ifoundjoy's OCs and she could therefore do with them as she pleased.

I just wanna say the ppl her who are saying “well these are her ocs” no they aren’t and never will be plus a lot of these were made before she even claim that so please don’t try to defend her

This defense was in reference to several comments ifoundjoy made. As in December 2023 ifoundjoy made the following community post claiming they forgot Bad and Skeppy weren't her OCs:

The following day, June 13, 2024, @skeppysaint posted a reply to a post ifoundjoy made on her YouTube community tab.

Community post by ifoundjoy, screenshot taken by @skeppysaint, later edited to say it included jokes on her discord server. On June 14, 2024 the post was edited again saying joy didn't want to talk about this anymore before being deleted.

However, it was pointed out that ifoundjoy was in her discord still drawing and joking about Skeppy pole dancing that same day, so people were skeptical about how sincere she was. A person claiming to be one of her discord mods also asked for any sexual content on the discord by ifoundjoy fans to be reported, saying they would delete it from the discord.

ifoundjoy privated two videos from the initial call out post. @skeppysaint made another post on June 14, 2024 and again on July 6, 2024 asking ifoundjoy to take down the other content they had issue with, ie the community post comic^{Archived July 8, 2024, at Archive.today} where Skeppy says he's horny to Bad and the community post that seems to be encouraging top/bottom comments^{Archived July 8, 2024, at Archive.today}.

In a video posted June 30, 2024 ifoundjoy seemed to try to further differentiate the characters from the real people by claiming they have different voice actors than the real people, as well as changing some basic facts about them like their birthdays, and added a disclaimer at the beginning:

remember!! there's a line between fiction and real life. everything I say or do in this channel doesn't connect to the real CCs I've based on. Just the Gacha characters. This includes ethnicities, sexualities, and whatnot.

Interestly she also included recent MCYT inside jokes (ie calling Bad "Brad").

I do wanna point out that Joy stated they’re no longer really Skeppy and Bads characters, but their own now. They’ve seperated them from Skeppy and Bad already and basically made them into OCs. We see this in their current AU they’ve got going on.

man this sucks bcz the only gachatuber i watch on repeat is ifoundjoy and this sucks... i found their community post before this. i was about to side them before i saw the screenshots and put two and two together. Is it possible for them to come back from this? or yk what i mean

Yes I understand, these are real people but this can also slip the mind because Joy doesn’t watch them and sees them as OC’s besides CC’s. Going forward Joy needs to remember and take this into accountability instead of doing whatever with these “characters”
