Halfy & Winks are a cousin duo of creatives (Halfy on art and animation, Winks on music) who have become primarily well-known within the Dream SMP fandom for their wholly original songs, most of which were accompanied by either/both an animated music video and a lyric video on their respective YouTube channels, which were created by the duo themselves. Their music style ventures between acapella, ballad, waltz, and cinematic, accentuated by Winks' dynamic singing and voice control. Like Derivakat and other notable creatives within said fandom, their songs are percieved both as moving and of a higher-quality, as well as having themes and narratives that not only apply to the Dream SMP canon as a whole, but also in other fandom circles at a far larger scale.
