Derivakat is a musician and music producer who started out publishing covers of songs starting around 2014-2015 on her sole Youtube channel, which is still extant today. She is frequently credited for one of the major driving forces behind the Dream SMP's growing fanbase, and its eventual prominence and permanence in general fandom culture, at the time, owing to her fan discography of said Minecraft SMP/video series, which were percieved as having a high level of production and quality in comparison to other fan songs that were created during the fandom's heyday. As of 2023, the musician presently revealed her new four-song EP, centered around her new post-Dream SMP persona as the Archivist, one song at a time.
