FundyWasTaken is the m/m pairing of Dream and Fundy from the Dream SMP fandom. It is more commonly seen as an FPF pairing than an RPF pairing.
Fandom
FundyWasTaken was a popular pairing in 2020 and early 2021, prior to it being retconned from Dream SMP. It is less popular recently, but not completely nonexistent. It has over 1 thousand works on Archive of Our Own as of July 2023.
Despite the high work count, it is frequently portrayed as a background pairing, or as a rival pairing in DreamNotFound works, with Dream sometimes cheating on Fundy with George, often due to a common misinterpretation of the events in Fundy's wedding video.
