Team Angst and Romance McShep Match Interview Series incorporates the interviews conducted several Stargate Atlantis fic collaborations. These collaborations were for McShep Match, which was a Stargate Atlantis challenge community on Livejournal that was modelled on Snarry Games, in which two teams competed to see who could best fulfill both the individual prompts and the team themes.

While there were McShep Matchs between 2007-2013, interviews were not conducted in 2008 or 2013.

While the main topic is the pairing McShep, there are other fandoms discussed.

A source of inspiration many years later! From a fan in 2019: "I was on fanlore looking someone up and instead found these series on interviews that authors in the SGA fandom did from 2007 to 2012. I read the questions for 2011, and suddenly I really wanted to answer them for myself." ^[1]
