My love for Hewlett and Flanigan knows no bounds. As for the fandom -- I am amazed by the high quality of writing SGA inspires. I don't think there's any other fandom with such a high signal to noise ratio. (I hope I said that right. You know what I mean, anyway.)

I have been lurking and loving in this fandom for quite a while now, and I feel compelled to try and write in it. I don't seem to be able to stop myself, so this seemed like a fun way to jump in. As for angst... I try to be funny and light, and I get angst. I've decided to stop fighting it. And love that's earned with pain is the best kind. In fiction, anyway.
