I recently found some fic I wrote for Captain Scarlet when I was about seven (altogether now: aww), but let’s ignore that and focus on my first posted fic which was in Dec 2004... I started out in due South fandom and was there for quite a while before moving into Atlantis. I’ve also dabbled in Dr Who, SG-1, Torchwood and Entourage.
My favourite part of SGA is the characters, obviously I love John and Rodney and the rest of the main cast, but I also adore the minor characters and the fact that they’re fleshed out, real people, not nameless redshirts. And as for SGA fandom, well what’s not to love? We might be huge, but we’re friendly, everyone has a place and (hopefully) everyone feels welcome.
