I started out when I was eleven, so for roughly about eleven years... I actually started out in the Digimon fandom, and have progressed steadily outwards into Harry Potter, Supernatural, Stargate: Atlantis and Heroes. I know that that's a huge gap between Digimon and Harry Potter but I couldn't halp myself :D I was a kid too, you know!
That there is so much diversity amongst the [SGA] fans. The fanwank and ship wars nothwithstanding, people are extremely friendly in the fandom, and they're all willing to contribute in every form. I'm constantly amazed by the turnout of fic, art and all sorts of media alike. I hope it continues :D The friends I've made a long the way are a big help too!
