What I enjoy most about SGA is the very unique quality of the two characters. They're not standard "hero" material. They are, essentially, geeks. Lovable geeks but geeks. They're funny, sexy and so very, very human. Every one of us I think can recognize something of ourselves in them. Oh, and the banter you've got to love that banter.
I've been writing fanfiction for about eight years now... Before SGA? I've participated in the Smallville and Harry Potter fandoms.
