Daisy Johnson, born Mary Sue Poots and formerly known under the alias Skye, is an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. in the TV series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..
Canon
Skye is introduced as a civilian who's a computer hacker and part of the group known as Rising Tide. At Phil Coulson's request, she joins his team. One of the mysteries of the series was her origins since she had been categorized as a "0-8-4" by SHIELD. In Season 2, she finally meets her father who tries to connect with her but due to his monster-like behavior she doesn't let herself connect with him. He tells Skye her real name and hints at her destiny. Skye accidentally undergoes Terrigenesis while trying to stop Raina, and becomes Quake - a Kree mutated human (known as an Inhuman) with the ability of making earthquakes.
Skye learns more about her family history and begins to control her powers with help from her mother Jiaying and Lincoln Campbell. Her mothers plan to wage war on Shield, results in her death. Skye decides to remain at Shield and begins to form a team of Inhumans, taking on the name Daisy Johnson.
