Leo/Skye is the pairing of Agents Leo Fitz and Skye from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Canon
Leo Fitz and Skye are team mates on Agents of Shield. Their initial interactions involve a lot of bickering, as Fitz is often frustrated by Skye impatiently interrupting his lab work and scientific explanations with jokes and inappropriate touching of equipment. Fitz appears to be jealous of Skye's friendship and developing relationship with Grant Ward. [1] In season 1 episode 16, they go undercover together as a couple, displaying a genuine care for each other's safety.
Fitz hides Skye's test results after she is exposed to Terrigenesis. He is the only team member who knows that Skye has become an Inhuman, lying to Jemma Simmons to protect her. When the others discover her powers, he defends her and encourages others not to act out of fear of her new abilities.
Fandom
Chloe Bennet who plays Skye has stated that she shipped Skye and Fitz together[2].
Fitz/Skye initially appeared as a side pairing in Jemma Simmons/Grant Ward fics. The pairing grew in popularity throughout season 1, with a number of Mission Fics focusing on the pretend relationship trope, which already had a basis in canon. There were also some fics written in response to the episode Tracks (S01Ep06), where Fitz and Skye pose as a couple.
Their close proximity, living together on the Bus, was also a jumping off point for many fics. Building on the hints in canon, many fans headcanon that Fitz is attracted to Skye, and there are a number of fics looking at his bumbling efforts to ask her out or tell her about his feelings. In several works, Fitz helps Skye adapt to her Inhuman powers.
Alternative Universe fics are common, particularly Soulmates and College AUs, including fics where Skye attends college in Scotland, or Skye attends the Shield Academy.
The threesome pairing of Leo Fitz/Jemma Simmons/Skye has become quite popular since the Fitzsimmons relationship became canon.
