Kate Bishop is the third character to take the codename Hawkeye from the Marvel Comics series The Avengers and Young Avengers. Her costume is a combination of Hawkeye and Mockingbird.


Kate first appeared in Young Avengers #1 in April 2005. She took on the mantle of Hawkeye after Clint disappeared, when Clint returned they both shared the name. Later, Kate and Clint teamed up in the Hawkeye Comics. Kate was featured in her own solo comics series, also titled Hawkeye, it ran for 16 issues, in 2017-2018.
