Bishop & Barton is a trailer video by puffabilly for the characters Kate Bishop and Clint Barton, who are both known as Hawkeye in the Marvel Comics.
Although in the MCU Kate is not a part of the universe (at least not yet), the actress Jennifer Lawrence was used to portray Kate in the video - more than likely because of her portrayal as Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games. This would give easy access to clips of a woman archer, which is Kate Bishop's skill just like her mentor Clint.
As of July 18, 2013, the video has more than 2,400 views. On the Tumblr post, it has over 700 notes. By February 25, 2015 it has more than 12,110 views and 200 likes at YouTube.
Vidder's Notes
- Very much inspired by Matt Fraction's Hawkeye comics and the Young Avengers series. I suspect Kate's back story in the trailer is more obvious if you've read them.
