Marvel POC Fanworks Exchange, sometimes called Marvel POC Exchange or Marvel POC Fest, was a gen, het, F/F slash, and M/M slash gift exchange for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Arising at the same time as the fandom was discussing issues of race and racism(1)(2), it was an exchange centered around the characters of color in the MCU. The exchange was open to creators of fanfic, fanart, podfic, and fanvids. Though the fanworks are posted to the AO3, sign-ups and matching were handled manually by the mod. The exchange ran annually for three rounds between 2014-2016.

Rules
Minimum requirements for fanworks produced:
- Fanfic must be at least 1,000 words long
- Fanart must be at least 500x500 px
- Podfic must meet the fanfic word minimum
- Fanvid must be at least 90 seconds long
When signing up, participants are allowed to request and offer any character from the list and any ship that involves at least one character from the list. There is no minimum number of characters/pairings to request or offer. However, participants are not allowed to request only certain types of fanwork—any participant can receive a fanfic, fanart, podfic, or fanvid that meets their character/pairing requests. Crossovers are not allowed. Sign-ups are kept private; only the mod can see them.

50 people signed up. The dates were:
- 1 June: Sign-ups open
- 10 June: Sign-ups close
- 14 June: Assignments sent out by this date
- 1 August: Deadline to turn in fanworks
- 9 August: Fanworks and creators revealed (there was no anon period)
The most popular fandoms were Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Captain America, with 22 works each; the most popular characters were Melinda May & Sam Wilson, with 14 works each; the most popular relationship was Steve Rogers/Sam Wilson with 5 works. Gen was the most common type at 22 works, followed by M/M slash at 16 works. While most creators produced fanfic, there were four podfics and two pieces of fanart produced.
There was a treat collection, which was not anonymous even before the deadline; as requests were kept hidden throughout, creators were allowed to post bonus works for their recipients or produce works for prompts left on a thread in the community. There was no minimum requirement for treats.
