Darcy/Clint is the non-canon Marvel Cinematic Universe pairing of Darcy Lewis and Clint Barton (Hawkeye). They both appear in the Thor film, Clint appears in The Avengers film, and Darcy appears in Thor 2: The Dark World.
Fandom
Darcy/Clint is one of the unexpected het pairings that grew out of the Thor movie due to the fact that the characters literally had no interaction whatsoever. As the author of the Darcy/Clint ship manifesto put it:
- "Now, you may ask why? And I say to you, why not! Aside from the fact that they share no screen time whatsoever. The signs are all there." [2]
It is also proving to be a popular het pairing in the related The Avengers movie fandom. Even before the The Avengers film was released, stories already had her living at the Avengers mansion/Tower and/or working for SHIELD which was usually how the fics brought Darcy and Clint together.
