Lorna Dane is the alter ego of Polaris from the Marvel Comics series The X-Men.

Lorna possesses the mutant ability of magnetism.

Lorna first appeared as in X-Men #49 (October 1968).

Lorna's first animated appearance was on X-Men: The Animated Series where she was voiced by Terri Hawkes, where she is a part of the X-Factor team. She was a main character in Wolverine and the X-Men voiced by Liza del Mundo, as the daughter of Magneto.

Lorna made her first live-action debut in the The Gifted, an X-Men related television show and is portrayed by Emma Dumont as a main character. It's set inside the X-Men Movieverse, which although Lorna did not make an official appearance in it, her name did appear on William Stryker's computer in X2: X-Men United.

Lorna is mainly shipped with her canon on/off again boyfriend Alex Summers (Havok) along with her other canon love interest Bobby Drake (Iceman). Otherwise she is sometimes paired up with Remy LeBeau (Gambit) or Scott Summers (Cyclops).

In femslash pairings, Lorna is mainly shipped with Jean Grey (Phoenix).

Within The Gifted fandom, Lorna is mainly paired up with her canon love interest Marcos Diaz ("Eclaris"). She is sometimes paired with the Frost sisters, Esme, Sophie, and Phoebe ("PolarFrosts") or Andy Strucker.
