Matt Murdock(Daredevil) and Claire Temple meet when an injured Daredevil is discovered in her apartments dumpster. A nurse, Claire takes Daredevil into her home and treats his injuries. This makes her a target for criminals working for Wilson Fisk. Matt Murdock has to save her on more than one occasion, as their relationship places her in danger. Claire Temple was the first person to learn Daredevil's identity.
The two had a short lived romance, which ended as Claire struggled with the reality of falling in love with a vigilante. Even after their break up, Claire is still willing to support and help Matt when he calls.
