Marvel Fanfiction was a fanfiction archive founded in 2007, which was initially created as a place to house the fics on Marvel_fic on Livejournal. It also linked to Marvel_fic on GreatestJournal. It ran on eFiction, an automated archive script. The archive was home to 388 stories by 66 authors.
All ratings were permitted. Stories were divided into drabbles (under 200 words) and fanfiction over 200 words. RPF, Mary-Sues and stories where adults had sex with under-16s were not permitted.

Closure
On 24 March 2009, the following notice was posted to the site:
Site Newsmarvelfanfiction.com closing down Marvelfanfiction.com will be closing down April 07, 2009. I no longer want to have this domain on my servers.
Please back up all your fanfiction hosted on Marvelfanfiction.com before April 07, 2009.
Unless someone wants to take care of Marvelfanfiction.com for $25 (domain) + $100 (server) costs, the site will be closing down.
