Emma Frost is the alter ego of White Queen from the Marvel Comics series The X-Men. She was originally a villain (with the Hellfire group), but has since switch sides to the X-Men in the 1990s.

Canon

Emma Frost is a telepath, her second mutation is the ability to shapeshift into a solid diamond form which grants her superhuman strength and durability (however unable to access her telepathy).

Emma first appeared as in Uncanny X-Men #129 (January 1980).

Emma Frost is one of the main characters in the X-Men: First Class movie portrayed by January Jones. Along with Banshee, Emma stars in the tv-film of Generation X in 1996 portrayed by Finola Hughes. In X-Men Origins: Wolverine a similar character with the name of Emma (and the ability to turn into a diamond form) was portrayed by Tahyna Tozzi.

Her first animated appearance was in the pilot of X-Men: Pryde of the X-Men. Her second appearance is in X-Men: The Animated Series during the "The Dark Phoenix Saga" (voiced by Tracey Moore). Her first major role was in Wolverine and the X-Men where she was voiced by Kari Wahlgren, her second major role was in the X-Men Marvel Anime voiced by Ali Hillis.
