Wanda/Vision is the het pairing of Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch) and Vision in the Marvel Universes, they have a canonical relationship in the Earth-616 & MCU universes.

Canon

MCU

Wanda and Vision first meet in The Avengers: Age of Ultron. At the end of the film Wanda and Vision are two of the new recruits for The Avengers team. Over the film series they develop first a friendship, then a romantic relationship.

Fandom

Back in the 70's and 80's, the pairing was one of the major relationships in Marvel's comicsverse, specifically in the Avengers franchise, developing over the course of the main Avengers book after The Vision was introduced, and later on getting their own mini and maxi series.

In the MCU, the characters were both introduced in Avengers: Age of Ultron, where a couple moments hinted at the possibility of a similar connection to that from the comics, and in Captain America: Civil War, the characters are primarily shown and have interactions with each other, where one could notice a growing bond. In Avengers: Infinity War it is established in their first scene that they've been seeing each other while Wanda has been on the run for 2 years. However, compared to other ships in the MCU, the pairing is not as popular, but for Wanda and Vision both it's the top ship for each character (especially Vision, whom is rarely shipped with anyone else). As the two got their own show WandaVision, the pairing's popularity has been growing.

Common Tropes in Fanworks

  • Codas: continuation for most of the films, usually dealing with the aftermath, occasionally including missing scenes not shown in canon
  • Comfort or Grief: Vision helping and supporting Wanda, especially after the loss of her brother
  • Domestic fic; their everyday lives as a couple
  • They Live: they do not die during Infinity War, or are somehow resurrected
  • Side Pairing: sometimes a featured secondary pairing in stories focused on other members of The Avengers
