1994

• April 26: The due South pilot airs in Canada as a TV movie. It is then picked up as a regular series.
• September 22: The first episode airs.
• December 20: DSOUTH-L

Due South Archive opens.

1995

• May: An early, possibly the first, due South zine is published: Partial Recall, a gen novel by Elyse Dickenson. Many more follow.

Forever South convention is held.

1996

William and Elyse's due South Page goes online.

The first RCW 139 convention is held.

Due South Religious Wars of '96

Detective Armani, a fan club, forms.

due South is cancelled after two seasons.

1997

• September 14: "Burning Down the House," the first episode of the third season, airs. Ray Vecchio is replaced with Ray Kowalski as Fraser's partner.

The Ray Wars begin.

1998

• June 12-14: Big Red Due South Convention
• August 8: Serge (mailing list) is created.
• November: thecloset mailing list is created.

DSX mailing list started "late 90s"

1999

• January: DIEF mailing list is created - gen fic and discussion
• March: dsslash mailing list is created - slash fic and discussion
• March 14: "Call of the Wild," the last episode of due South, airs. Fans write post-CotW fic.
• March 22?: Red Suits You mailing list is created
• May: SwingBothRays (mailing list) is created
• May: Serge List Archive opens
• September 10: RideForever (mailing list) is created
• November: MRKS mailing list is created

The DuSC Archive opens.

2000

• Bindlestitch archive and mailing list are started
• Chinook (due South mailing list) is created
• April: DSstoryfinders mailing list is created
• April: SergeAsylum mailing list is created

2001

• July 1: Just The Fics, Ma'am archive opens.
• December: Speranza runs the multifandom Canadian Shack challenge, inspired by post-COTW fanon.

2003

• April 12: LJ community DS Flashfiction is created.
• June 20: LJ account ds_flashback is created for reccing old fic.

2006

• January 24: LJ comm rayk97s is created for the Ray K Old 97's Challenge.
• March 11: DS Weekly, a newsletter community, is created.
• June 13: LJ comm fraser_vecchio is created for Fraser-Vecchio related ficathons.
• June 13-15: Out.of.con.txt is run on livejournal for those who cannot attend Con.txt.
• June 22: LJ account frannievecchio is created for the Get Frannie Laid challenge.
• July 7: LJ comm getfraserlaid is created for the Get Fraser Laid challenge. At least 73 fics are posted by October.
• July 22: LJ comm inuvikdotcom is created for the Inuvik Website Challenge. Stories posted October-November.
• July 25: LJ comm ds_music_videos is created.
• September 17: LJ comm getturnbulllaid is created for The Turnbull Challenge. Stories to be posted in November.
• September 22: LJ comm vecchiofest is created for the Vecchio Fest. Stories posted November 21.

• October 1: Five fics are posted as part of the Get Frannie Laid challenge.

2007

• March: The first Muskrat Jamboree is held.
• March 27: LJ comm ds_aprilfools is created for an April challenge.
• April 12: LJ comm ds_shakespeare is created for the due South Shakespeare Challenge.
• May 16: LJ comm midsummer2007 is created for the Midsummer 2007 6 Degrees of Due South ficathon.
• July 6: LJ comm ds_raysquared is created for the Ray/Ray pairing.
• August 2: LJ comm ds_fang_or_fur created for the due South Fang or Fur Fest (supernatural creatures in fanfic).
• August 20: LJ comm ds_northernnews - "challenge based on actual headlines from CBC Northern News"
• September 18: LJ comm ds_team_root is created for fans following DS Match.
• September 25: LJ comm ds_recfinders is created.
• November 4: LJ comm fraser_thatcher is created.
• November 13: LJ comm tart_guide is created to thank the DS Match mods for running the challenge.

DS Match #1 happens.

2008

• February 10: LJ comm the_ckr_files is created as "An attempt to compile a complete catalog of - to quote china_shop - Callum Keith Rennie's vast and traumatizing oeuvre."
• February 14: The first "not actually annual" C6D Valentine's Day Cardathon masterlist is posted.
• March 31: LJ newsletter community C6d Weekly is created.
• June 7: LJ comm ds_women is created.
• June 12-14: Out.of.con.txt 2008 runs on livejournal for those who cannot attend Con.txt.
• June 21: The LJ comm for Due South Canadian 6 Degrees Big Bang is created.
• August 15-17: CanCon 2008, a miniconvention, is held. It is "A small, slash-friendly due South convention run by LiveJournal folks to compliment the larger G-rated RCW 139 convention held at the same time."
• December 3: LJ comm ds_contest is created.
• December 9: LJ comm ontd_c6d is created.

DS Match #2

The first Pacificon is held.

2009

• May 12: LJ comm midsummer2009 is created for the Canada Six Degrees (of Due South) Midsummer Santa Fic Exchange.[1]
• June 14: The first Due South Canadian 6 Degrees Big Bang goes live.
• September 11: LJ comm c6d_universe is created.
• October 25: ds_kinkmeme, a kink meme, is created.
• October 30: LJ comm Due South Author Profiles is created.

2010

• March 13: Dreamwidth community duesouth is created.
• March 25: LJ comm pacifi_cant is created (also on dreamwidth) for fans who cannot attend Pacificon.
• September 9: duesouth_kink, a kink meme, is created on dreamwidth for due South and C6D.
• November 22: The Due South Zombie Radioplay LJ comm is created.
• December 6: The Leslie Nielsen - Buck Frobisher Memorial Thing-a-thon starts. It runs through January 3.

2011

• June 24: Tumblr account fuckyeahduesouth is created.

2013

• January-April: The due South Podfic Exchange is hosted on AO3.
• July 1: The Due South Virtual Bar's livejournal is created. According to the profile, the tumblr was created earlier.

2014

• January 23: The first CKR Flower Crown Day happens.

2015

• September 21: Fanworks for the first Ray Vecchio Day challenge are revealed.

2019

• September 8: Dreamwidth community ds_ficminers is created.

2021

• April 29: due South Summer Swap AO3 collection created for a gift exchange, with fic and art to be posted July 4.
