History
The first peggynat Fanfiction on Archive of Our Own was published in 2012, in Before The Sun Starts To Burn by morphosyntactic they were a side ship to Stucky. The first peggynat work with them as the main pairing was wait around for the dust to still, don't believe that it ever will by earlofcardigans (sorelymythtaken). The ship gained more recognition with the release of the What If...? series, especially after the last episode of the first season of the series: What If... the Watcher Broke His Oath? aired on October 6, 2021. After that more artists created Fanart for the ship.
