Gamora is a fictional alien character in Guardians of the Galaxy, a series of comic books published by Marvel. Portrayed by actress Zoe Saldana, she also appears in several movies within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. [1]
She is often shipped in a xeno relationship with Peter Quill (Star-Lord). The fannish name for the pairing is Starmora. Sometimes, Gamora's gen relationship with her adoptive sister Nebula is also in the focus of fannish interest. It is usually referred to as 'Gamora & Nebula'.
In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Gamora is murdered by her adoptive father Thanos.
