Reactions and Reviews
deniigiq is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. They write absolutely fantastic Team Red (Daredevil, Spiderman, and Deadpool) stuff that will make you roll on the floor with laughter one moment and shatter your heart the next. I recommend pretty much anything they write.CallToMuster[1]
I found your work some months ago while searching for more Matt & Peter fics and apparently been reading from the DFV and Inimitable verse out of order (which, is amazing you can write stories that while being a continuation of each other, they can be perfectly read individually) and then found u again via the Spiderverse fics so I'm finally giving myself time to read your work in order and while the Inimitable verse Peter helped motivate me with my own thesis and reading an older Peter is always a delight, i think reading about a younger, tinier Peter with support and friends while struggling like we all do is what I need after That. anyways, you write the dynamics of the characters amazingly, and while they are, at their core, kind of the same (team red, for example) i love how you make very distinct versions for your verses and i respect and am amazed by that white a lotLeWanderinGaal[2]
I dove into your fics unapologetically and with little regard for time or other menial tasks like human interaction. I'm getting enough through this as far as I'm concerned. Your shit's in-fucking-credible!!!!!!MoonlightCrossesOnYourBody[3]
This verse is so good. All the stories in it are wonderful and well written and funny, and it's one of my favourites to reread. Thank you so much for all the work you've put into it! The things that happen in your marvel fics are genuinely what I wish would happen - I think this verse fixes all the things that M@rvel messed up with Spiderman, and it is now my canon. I keep refreshing the marvel tag hoping to find more fics like yours, and it always ends with me rereading these. You're a wonderful writer and I'm excited to see what's next!!!TryingToWrite[4]
I love all of your work and deeply admire you as a writer and as a person but this story is my favorite. It's hysterically funny, earnest, and just the right side of convoluted and tricksy. I love the way you write these characters as themselves so well, beyond the explanations given. This one makes me cry, just a bit. I return to it every now and then when I start feeling insecure in being a creative writing major. It doesn't push me to keep pursuing it as a path without reasoning or forethought, but it's a bolstering influence and a reassurance to be confident in myself and my choices. I struggle with confidence and I'm pretty good at math and 'hard science' stuff so out of a place of love my family has been encouraging me to try to pursue something there for security's sake so I really empathized with Peter here. And who knows, maybe I will want to learn more about it but it's hard to consider such things when I'm pushing so hard against them. This story helped me find something closer to an equilibrium. I don't feel as unsteady. I dunno it feels a little silly but seeing your Peter be able to look at people who care for him overbearingly and tell them that he's not going to take that? To see him demand breathing room for himself to be? It feels easier for me too. So I just wanted to say thank you for that. Your story really touched me, and I'm grateful for it. It felt important to let you know.Lopsided_Nebula[5]
