The World Around Us is a zine featuring fanart of the characters Fire Emblem Fates exploring the countries and cultures represented in the game.
About
With the release of Fire Emblem Fates, we not only get more than fifty new loveable characters, but also three major countries and several minor ones with respective cultures to explore! The goal of this zine is to explore the characters of Fire Emblem Fates and the countries and cultures represented within the game. This book is a product of the labour and love of 36 artists brought together by their mutual appreciation for the characters and the world of Fire Emblem, and is made for every other fan out there who wants to indulge in all the possibilities that were presented in the game.[1]
No interest check or applications were open for this zine. Contributors for the zine were personally invited by the organizer.
Preorders opened on August 1, 2016 and closed on August 20, 2016[2] with the following pricing tiers:
