About

Grandeur is a fanzine project celebrating Camilla from Fire Emblem Fates. Camilla is a muse to many, continuing to captivate fans and creators long after her initial appearance in Fates. Her ravishing purple locks, unparalleled beauty, deadly strength with which she protects those dear to her, and many more extraordinary qualities keep us coming back to her again and again. We want to create one book that will, for the first time, bring together everything that we love about Camilla, a compilation of love letters through art, a place we can keep coming back to to relive iconic memories from Fates and beyond.

We want to create and self-publish an artbook that depicts Camilla in all canon and alternate forms, including holiday and other alts introduced in FE Heroes. And why not even create some of your own? We can't wait to see which exciting new directions our shared muse will take you!

An interest check was run from November 30 to December 15, 2021, for a fanzine project dedicated to Camilla. The organizers reported a total of 150 responses with 73% of responses showing great interest in the project. Applications for a layout and writer moderator were accepted from January 15 to January 28, 2022. Contributor applications were open from February 7 to March 6, 2022.

Preorders opened on July 5, 2022, with the following pricing tiers:

• Nohrian Princess ($25 USD) - Physical Zine
• Bewitching Beauty ($39 USD) - Physical Book, Prints, Sticker Sheet
• Light of Nohr ($69 USD) - Physical Book, Prints, Sticker Sheet, Acrylic Charms, Acrylic Standee, Enamel Pin
• Flower of Fantasy ($99 USD) - Physical Book, Prints, Sticker Sheet, Acrylic Charms, Acrylic Standee, Enamel Pin, Dakimakura Cover, Mousepad, Mini Prints

An early bird special of cat shaped badges was offered to all physical bundle orders made before July 10, 2022. Stretch goals included a bookmark, a gold foil upgrade to the acrylic charm, a gold foil upgrade to the physical zine cover, and a gold foil box for physical bundle orders.

A giveaway of the digital zine and additional goods was offered to followers who played a find-the-difference game hosted on the project's social media account, running from July 11 to July 13, 2022. The winners of this giveaway game were Twitter users Elitedog66 and Rockythebunny13. A giveaway for a Light of Nohr bundle was hosted from July 20 to July 24, 2022. The winner of this giveaway was Twitter user MemieChalphy. Preorders closed on August 2, 2022, while digital bundles continued to be available for purchase.

By November 12, 2022, most physical orders had been reported to have been shipped out. Digital orders were also sent on the same day as this shipping update.

Leftover sales began on February 2, 2023, for various bundles and lower grade versions of zines. Sales ended on February 25, 2022.
