The Merlin Slash Awards (MSA) is an award community to celebrate all slash and femslash fanworks created for the Merlin fandom, including the fictional characters as well as the actors and actresses.

Award sections include fanfiction, fanart, fanvideos, and misc fanworks. The misc fanworks section includes banners, fanmixes, ficmixes, GIFs, macros, manips, picspams, podfic, posters and wallpapers.

The Merlin Slash Awards replaced the Merlin/Arthur Fanfic Awards that were supposed to take place in Spring 2010. The previous mod of the MAFAs handed them over to the MSA mods. The winners of the Spring 2010 Merlin Slash Awards were announced July 3, 2010.

The Spring 2010 Merlin Slash Awards were announced with promo banners in the Merlin slash communities and in personal journals and all the winners got personalized award banners.
