EKO Scorpion is a death squad that appears in Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Canon
EKO Scorpion was introduced in Captain America: Civil War as an elite Sokovian paramilitary death squad that Colonel Helmut Zemo had used to command. Other members of the squad were unnamed.
Fandom
Some fans tied Zemo's purple mask exclusively to EKO Scorpion after The Falcon and the Winter Soldier showrunner, Malcom Spellman, mentioned that the mask was related to Zemo's service in Sokovia.[1]
Because the members of the squad, besides Helmut Zemo, were barely portrayed in MCU, there are no substantial fan works focused on the members. Their inclusion in fan works is often as part of Zemo stories, especially Bucky Barnes/Helmut Zemo pairing.
Notable members in Fanworks
Some fans have tried to come up with different original characters as the members. The Living by Bagheera is the first fanfic to have introduced EKO Scorpion characters. It includes four members:
- Lyudmila Kovac - A short and squat woman, has brown hair with short no-nonsense cut, Brigadier General rank-ed.
- Dragan Zimya - Lanky man with a buzz cut, pale and dark-eyed, has soft features set into a permanent grim frown.
- Šimon Harel - Wry man with a mustache, a dark type with no grey in his black hair.
- Bosko - Big man, presumably former heavy weight, favors his right leg, has old knee injury, mobility at less than 90%, close range threat.
Other fanfics with significant characterization include: walking down a crumbling line by Asher_2179 and darthpumpkinspice with Petra, Andreja, Rajko, Avram, Katya, and Luca; and Veneration by vipjuly with Lukáč, Molnár, and Varga.
