[Liar's Itch]: Jim catches a virus that makes him itch every time he tells a lie. Spock learns of it and seizes the opportunity to get a few answers of his own... If you like seeing Jim digging his own grave deeper and deeper with every word, you're gonna love this. Humourous, cute and very entertaining:). Good characterization. [1]

  • Brothers In Blood by Slasherfem. In the Mirror Universe, First Officer James T. Kirk is trapped in an abusive relationship with Captain Christopher Pike. With the help of the new Vulcan science officer Spock, he assassinates Pike and takes his place as captain. But will he be willing to pay the price for Spock’s assistance?
  • Blood Fever by Pet Leopard. This story takes place after the Season Two Episode, “Amok Time”.
  • Buhfikat by Hypatia Kosh. After Spock reintegrates the human side he suppressed at Gol, Kirk and Spock must reintegrate their lives on the Enterprise.
  • Heavy Petting by Farfalla. Kirk and Spock's wedding night is invaded by tiny, furry creatures. No, they're not tribbles...
  • Kirk Loves by K'Chaps. Kirk loves Spock.
  • Brothers With Benefits by Farfalla. After Spock's return from Gol, Kirk and Spock try to define their complex friendship.

[Space of Tranquility and Love] I really enjoyed this!!! It was very tender and very in-character! The love was absolutely palpable, as was their comfort with each other and the kind of teasing/banter that comes from long familiarity both as lovers and friends. I also loved how you tied it into the events of the movies! In many fics I've read lately that address Gol, typically it's Spock running away because he's scared of his own feelings for Jim. I really enjoyed this interpretation that it was Jim who wasn't ready to accept HIS feelings, but Spock was. I think you carried that character trait of Spock's surety throughout this piece.

Shoutout to my favorite line: "He didn’t always have to be the strong one. It was a special pleasure to be able to let go so freely with someone who was strong enough to catch him, should he ever fall." <-- that, to me, encapsulates so much of their dynamic and their relationship. I feel like Jim can't let go very often -- let go of control or responsibility, etc. -- but he CAN with Spock, and that's beautiful. <3

Anyway thank you for sharing this!! I had a great time reading it![4]

[Space of Tranquility and Love] So very HOT, of course, and so sweetly Brilliant; vivid setting and vivid in character banter and conversation really painted the picture well, and the sex scene you then put at its centre: Oh, my Lord! That was vivid, too (and, easy to follow, too; considering, sometimes, that these scenes aren't ; even for a reader with an over-active and slightly Dirty imagination!)[4]

[Space of Tranquility and Love] This was beautifully written!!!!! Gorgeous and so sweet.[4]

[First Times] I really liked this, though I don't think they could go from California to Iowa and be in time for fireworks because of time zones. I liked that though they were both virgins they weren't overly nervous. They seemed to give confidence to each other. I also really liked Spock checking out the snow![5]

  • And Then The World Is Colored By That Always by Mycroft Holmes. M&Ms; figured prominently in my relationship with my abusive ex...I think I'm ready to reclaim them.
  • Warmth by Farfalla. While in Starfleet Academy, Spock is having a hard time adjusting to the Bay area weather--until Kirk comes along.
  • Incident in Vega by Starshadow. Challenge: "Cold, cold, cold--what's a Vulcan to do, except find warmth in the arms of his captain?"
  • The Untold Want by Nwakego. Spock's rebirth brings new hope to Admiral Kirk's painful, unspoken love.
  • Shape of My Heart by Mycroft Holmes. A love letter? Feel free to take it seriously and/or humorously. I do, even though I'm way too literally the Writer.
  • A Good Day to Die by titC and Krss. TOS parody. Silliness alert: Klingons! Clichés upon clichés! Ship in danger! Gay people! Kink! Horny dogs! Gary Stus! Pseudo-plot! Bad puns! Aaand... SMUT! Plus the answer to the world's most asked questions: Will Dick Hal be as perfect as he looks? Will Kirk and Spock ever kiss? And will any redshirt survive?
  • Golden, Tangible by Farfalla. Spock belongs to Jim, and wants his body to reflect that somehow. Previously published in Dark Fire #1.
  • Making a Point by Acidqueen. The title pretty much says it all. Previously published in Dark Fire #1.

  • I Know You're Out There Somewhere by Farfalla. "At his side, as if you've always been there, and always will." Previously published in T'hy'la #25.
  • Ease Into Love on AO3 by kira-nerys. McCoy makes Spock realize he's got to admit to his true feelings. Previously published in Beyond Dreams #6.
  • Daedalus Aloft by Lyrastar. "Damn it, Jim, I don't like it." McCoy spat out the words. He pulled his bag off from over his shoulder, banging it down on the table with a dull thud. "You're risking the future of the Earth--hell, with the role Earth played in space exploration, maybe much more than that--for one man." Sequel to Brueghel's Icarus.
  • Picking Perfect Tomatoes by Ster Julie. And if the tomato feels like my t'hy'la's derriere... Then you know that tomato is ripe! No. Then I know it's overripe. (Not available online.)
  • Night in the Apollo by Farfalla. What would happen if Kirk and Spock got locked in a science museum overnight? My apologies to Mrs Basil E. Whatever-that-children's-book-is-called. Previously published in T'hy'la #25.
  • The Other Man Trap by Slasherfem. An ENTERPRISE landing party beams down to a planet to find a Federation archaeological team missing. When Captain Kirk finds the shape-shifting creature responsible, it takes him prisoner, disguises itself as him, then beams back on board with the others and goes on a killing spree.
  • A Higher Power on AO3 by K'Chaps. Kirk and Spock square off against Q, who is his usual charming self. Written to fulfill Diegina's challenge in the Low-Pressure Fest.
  • The Worst of Times by Starshadow. After Kahn, Kirk grieves.
  • Singular Identity by SmuttyKitty. M'Benga rubbed his chin pensively. "Or intense mental contact. The conventional resolution of Pon Farr is through both. Sex and telepathy." He looked puzzled and then looked at McCoy. "Does Spock have a relationship with anyone that you know of? Another link that would have sustained him after the severing of his link with T'Pring?"

[Night in the Apollo] You have a knack for writing the kinds of stories I like best, the in-between times and the behind the scenes gems that show these character's in their most human and vulnerable moments. It was hilarious, informative, and realistic. I could actually see this on happening.[8]

[Shifts] This is one of my favorite TOS fics of all time. I ADORE the characterization of both Jim and Spock, but there's something ESPECIALLY lovely about Jim's vulnerability here. I can't even describe how happy it makes me to read this (I've been rereading it a lot more lately) and thank you so much for posting this. This is an absolute gift.[9]

[Shifts] A sweet fic. I especially enjoyed how Spock’s romantic nature shone through his poetic description of their love.[10]

[Vulcan Heat] This was such a fantastic read! I'm a sucker for pre-Reform AUs, and this one did not disappoint. The worldbuilding was excellent, especially the social mores around intimacy among warriors and clan members, how passionate they are and how much the concepts of friend, brother-in-arms, family member, slave, master, and lover all had so much overlap instead of being rigid and distinct roles. I also loved the way you demonstrated Jim's skills as a hunter, tracker, and forager - very good example of the "show, don't tell" maxim.[11]

[Vulcan Heat] This is without doubt among the best pre-surak fictions I have every read.You have done an amazing job! Spock and James are in character while being compatible with a completely different world. and the OC you have created from Spock's cousin to the healer are all lovely.This is a great great story.Thank you for sharing.[12]

  • Shall We? on AO3 by Jenna Hilary Sinclair. Movies on the Enterprise. Popcorn. Stupid crewmen. Ducks and geese. McCoy with a big secret. Humor! But after all is said and done: K/S. Previously published in Beyond Dreams #4.
  • Stardate: Monday on AO3 by Farfalla. A mysterious affliction befalls Captain Kirk after returning from shore leave. Takes place during the third five year mission. Previously published in T'hy'la #26.
  • Need on AO3 by Jemariel. Post-Amok Time. Spock keels over on Altair VI. Jim worries. McCoy makes deductions.
  • Is There In Truth No Beauty? (Personal Logs #62) by Starshadow. Jealousy nearly kills a Vulcan. Dr. Jones finds out roses have thorns. And the Medusans may not be ugly--just too beautiful to bear.
  • Is There In Strange No Charm? by Hypatia Kosh. Kirk realizes that he may have been too human in his method of pursuit, and Spock realizes that he who hesitates is lost.
  • Meeting of Minds on AO3 by Slasherfem. While waiting for Vulcan's ruling council to vote on the question of Federation membership, Captain Kirk decides to go hiking on the Pilgrim's Trail, where he meets a Vulcan scientist on a pilgrimage. Previously published in KaleidoScope #4.
