Karen Flanery is a fanartist (as well as occasional fiction, poetry, and commentary), that contributed to many zines in the 1970s and 80s. They are probably best known for their works in the Star Trek: The Original Series fandom.

...the Art Show was the big deal for me. How could I leave? I was in the same room as Karen Flanery, and actually breathing the very same air! (There was a little path worn in the carpet all around K-Nut's display where a few members of the Karen Flanery Worship Society had periodically held meetings, gathered reverently around the beautiful artwork.)
