Retrospect: Spotlight on Leonard Nimoy is a 54-page zine. The zine is not dated but appears to have been published in 1970.

front cover by Tom Orzechowski
inside front cover by Claire Mason

The front cover is by Tom Orzechowski. The inside front cover is by Claire Mason. Other art is by Karen Flanery, BR, and other uncredited artists.

The zine's subject matter is Leonard Nimoy, the characters he portrayed, and fans' memories and reactions to meeting Nimoy, their recollections of seeing Star Trek: TOS for the first time, and their experiences about being a fan.

Much of the zine is non-fiction in the form of testimonials and essays, but it also contains art and poetry. There is one page of photographs.

"RETROSPECT IS DEDICATED TO LEONARD NIMOY WITHOUT WHO THESE MEMORIES WOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN!!!!!"

This issue was preceded by a "Retrospect Pinky Recruiting Issue," likely a flyer sent out to fan to ask for submissions to the main zine. That flyer contained a word scramble contest and the prizes were an 8x10 glossy photo of Nimoy as Paris from Mission Impossible and a copy of the LP Leonard Nimoy Presents Mr. Spock's Music from Outer Space.
