Zaquia Tarhuntassa was a fan artist and writer.

She made a number of illustrations and covers for Orion Press until retiring in 1999. She also wrote the novel the Pit of Acheron.

She died in a car crash in Turkey in 2006. At the time, Randy Landers of Orion Press wrote: "Zaquia was a good person and a valued contributor. Her insights into Star Trek were always unique and insightful."
