This is a fic I didn't know I needed. I absolutely love the idea of Jimmy (and the others from Evo, to various extents) being eldritch horrors. I love it to bits and am thrilled to see you've marked it as part of a series. I can't wait to see what you do next! As far as the ending, I felt like it fit. Even when it strayed to Scarian, the big picture arc was always Jimmy coming to terms with being himself among humans. And the Scarian bits were important context for that! So the ending feels like a satisfying resolution to Jimmy's story. For now anyway. As I said, I look forward to seeing where you take things next!

I found this fic because a silly meme song titled fic inspired by this one caught my eye and I just want to say I'm absolutely in love with this. I'm not all too familiar with watcher jimmy lore since I only watched evo from grian's perspective, but god does this man deserve to be happy. I love how cheesy he and tango are together, how caring the hermits are for him and how casually they accept him like he's the spicy nacho cheese to their familiar Grian cool ranch. I love the god bdubs, that's something I've never seen before but now that I have I'm adopting it into my personal headcanons, and I adore the ending. Jimmy realizing how messed up the emperors were treating him, but still realizing he cares about them. It's like moving out of a shitty parent's house for the first time and getting to heal, getting to analyze that relationship and choosing to build a better one from that point on. Thank you so much for writing this, I'm definitely adding this to my all time favs
