tommyinnit's clinic for supervillains is a Minecraft YouTube fanfic by bonesandthebees and is the first story in their the world of clinic series. It is a Superhero AU Gen fic focused around the content creator group SBI from the Dream SMP, starring a fictionalized version of the YouTuber TommyInnit that was posted to Archive of Our Own between August 2021 and January 2022. As of July 11, 2024, it is currently the 19th most popular fic by hit count on AO3.

The work has been officially translated into four different languages: Русский (by gorch, spoiledbleach and Tsu_01), Español (by PolarCM), Français (by G4bwastaken) and Português brasileiro (by BreezeHurricane).

Summary

“W-What do you- I mean can I- are you here to rob us?” The person managed to stammer out.

Siren snorted. “No. I’m just here to order some food.”

“Wh-What about him?” The cashier asked, glancing at Tommy. “Did you- did you kidnap him?”

“I mean… yeah, let’s go with that in case this ends up on the news,” Siren shrugged, looking back at Tommy. “I kidnapped you, right?”

“Yeah, sure,” Tommy agreed, knowing that if they said he was kidnapped, it would keep people from getting suspicious of why he was seen in public with Siren. “Anyway, can I get the chicken nuggets happy meal, with a coke?”

or, how Tommy—who is not a hero, or a villain, or even a vigilante—saves the life of one of L'Manberg's most feared supervillains, and accidentally ends up becoming the resident doctor for every supervillain in town (and maybe gets a family along the way too).

Reception

On Archive of Our Own it is the second most popular Dream SMP fanwork by kudos, hit count and bookmarks, and third most popular by comments count. As of July 11, 2024 the work has over 2,159,000 hits, 63,500 kudos, 9,900 comments, 11,300 bookmarks, and has been added to 28 different collections.
