Star Trek Continues was a fan-made web series based on Star Trek: The Original Series which "ran" from 2013 to 2017. The original intent was to create a continuation of the original "five year mission" mentioned in the opening credits of the show, which only lasted 3 seasons. Voice actor Vic Mignogna is a co-creator and starred as Captain Kirk on the series.
