LJC has been active in media fandom since 1988, first as a convention attendee, then as a media fanzine contributor, artist, editor, and publisher.

She came online in September 1992 and became a mailing list admin, moderator, writer, artist, and website maintainer. And began participating on convention staff in 1995 with Earth 2 fandom, and is currently on staff of two Doctor Who conventions in North America. Also was a columnist at FanFiction.Net from 1999 to 2003.

Although began as a writer and artist in fandom, she is best known as a webdesigner and archivist.
