Fan Comments
Just heard the sad news that Jenny Elson has died after a long illness. Jenny and her husband Terry organised a Star Trek club in 1973 and held the UK's first Star Trek minicon and weekend con in 1974. I got into Trek fandom through a letter in the Radio Times by the late Audrey Baker, so when I heard about the Elsons' Star Trek Action Group and plans for conventions and fanzines I was absolutely up for it. I met some of my best friends through sharing my love for the show through Trek fandom. Rest in peace, Jenny, as you voyage to new horizons. [1]
