Fontaine

Fontaine is the fifth of the seven nations of Teyvat that the Traveler goes to in the game Genshin Impact. Its element is Hydro, and it is ruled over by the Hydro Archon Furina (also known as Focalors).

Canon

Fontaine was released with the 4.0 update of the game. It is a nation that is built on a plateau with a massive waterfall along the edge. One of the location's highly-anticipated features was underwater exploration, which is only possible within its borders at present. Fontaine is known as the Nation of Justice, and the Opera Epiclese is the seat of its judicial system (as well as the place where performances like operas and magic shows are held). Trials and performances are inextricably linked in this nation, where trials are seen not just as a necessity of law enforcement but also a source of entertainment.

Fontaine is heavily inspired by France.
