Space Bar is a Star Trek RPG letterzine in German. It may be a sister zine to Trekkin' Around.
From the archived website, the RPG letterzine format is described: Das ist eigentlich ganz einfach. Ein Letterzine ein Rollenspiel in Briefform. Jedes Mitglied sucht sich einen, wahlweise zwei Charaktere aus dem Star Trek Universum (sogenannte Pseudos) aus und schreibt unter diesen an andere teilnehmende Charaktere. Wichtig ist hierbei, daß man sich bemüht, "im Charakter" zu schreiben - schließlich schreiben hier Deanna Troi und Pavel Chekov und nicht Lieschen Müller. Auf diese Weise schreiben wir an der Star Trek Geschichte mit - wenn auch nur inoffiziell.
The cost to participate via the printed letterzine was 45 DM for one year. International subscribers paid 50-60DM. Email subscribers paid only 20DM per year.
