This week it's all about Cloverfield, 10 Cloverfield Land, and The Cloverfield Paradox, possibly the weirdest attempt at stringing three movies into the same universe we've ever seen.

  • Dec 4, 2017 - You won't believe this, but we're back with a BRAND NEW EPISODE. This week we tackled Justice League, which we would certainly call a movie. Jes and Kelly are back! This week they sure watched what they would call a film. Join us for a discussion mostly about Justice League and the DC movie universe, a revisit to the Doomsday’s dongle debate (#onbrand), and a whole bunch of confusion. Sorry for the terrible audio, but this episode is cursed and we weren’t recording it a third time!

Jes and Kelly are back with a long discussion about Superman v Batman, too much discussion of Doomsday’s missing parts, some thoughts about this year’s C2E2 in Chicago, and the long awaited announcement of the winner of the #SPNFamily tote bag!

  • February 15, 2016 - Episode #14 - You Shall Not Pass: Gatekeepers in Fandom - Whether it’s the dreaded Fake Geek Girl accusation, a quiz to test your True Fan level, or being disregarded as a fan entirely, we’ve all run into fandom gatekeepers. This week Jes and Kelly tackle what gatekeeping is, common forms it takes, and give some advice for how to cope with it. We also review Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and talk nerdy news.

They discuss the new Captain America: Civil War trailer and fandom’s off the rails response then dig into Mockingjay pt 2 and the Hunger Games film series.
