The Slaughterhouse Nine are a group of villains in the webserial Worm. They are very popular within the fandom.

Canon

A group of serial killers who's only goal seems to be to cause as much mayhem and suffering as possible. They move frequently, somehow staying ahead of the heroes. They have a high turnover rate and, despite the name, frequently have fewer than nine members. They come to Brockton Bay shortly after Leviathan's attack looking to recruit new members.

Fandom

The group is very popular within the fandom, with a lot of fanart and meta. Bonesaw (Worm) might be a particular fan favorite, but many of the other members are popular, and the group as whole are often the focus of fanworks.

they were REALLY popular in the early-mid worm fandom, as I remember it. Like there was always at least one post about them on the front page of the subreddit when i used to hang out there. No idea if that's still true, iirc they weren't in ward at all
