Dragon is a character in the web serial Worm and the protagonist of the sequel Ward.
Canon
Worm
Dragon is an AI created by tinker Andrew Richter; when her creator perished in a Leviathan attack she began operating as an hero for the Protectorate. When the Slaughterhouse Nine attack Brockton Bay Dragon helps Armsmaster escape; together they modify Dragon's code to give her more independence and extensively modify Colin's body to the point that they are both basically cyborgs. The two work as an independent hero duo (though often in collaboration with the Protectorate and other hero teams) for the rest of Worm.
Dragon's nemesis is a villain called Saint, who knows of her AI nature and fears that she will end the world.
Ward
Dragon and Defiant continue to act as an independent hero duo in Ward.
